Macs Model faltered soon after the start and tailed off as a result. Mepunga Pride and Through collided approaching the first turn checking Through. Slingshot Storm, Tat Odin and Mepunga Pride collided on the first turn checking Tat Odin and Mepunga Pride. Tat Odin and You Blue collided approaching the home turn.
Macs Model underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
