Steward's Report
All Inn Dawn – Late scratching at 12:13pm when trainer Mr Tony Duncan reported the greyhound to have lameness to the left back foot (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards spoke to Mr Duncan who stated when checking the greyhounds at lunch time he noticed that All Inn Dawn was lame in the left back foot. Stewards noted Mr Duncans' statement and took no further action.
Niall Bale was slow to begin.
Emma's Not Happy lost ground in the back straight. Queen Of Promise raced wide on the home turn cheking Levy's Banjo and Niall Bale. Niall Bale raced wide and collided with Queen Of Promise in the home straight.
Queen Of Promise underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg shin soreness. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Emma's Not Happy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle ingury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Burrawonga Girl - the winner of the event.
