Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Come On Levendi.
Tim Tam Sam and All For Now were slow to begin.
Cilla Gem, Delta's Tiara and Lozin' Must collided soon after the start checking Lozin' Must and Delta's Tiara. Cilla Gem and Tim Tam Sam collided approaching the first turn checking Cilla Gem. All For Now clipped the heels of Gin Lee's Joe approaching the home turn checking All For Now. Come On Levendi crossed our approaching the home turn and raced wide. Delta's Tiara and Lozin' Must collided on the home turn. Come On Levendi visibly eased and turned its head on the home turn. All For Now and Gin Lee's Joe collided on the home turn.
Come On Levendi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind spike wound. no stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kipirtidis, the trainer of Come On Levendi regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Come On Levendi was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kipirtidis pleaded guilty to the charge, Come On Levendi is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
