Steward's Report
Miss Delivered – Late scratching at 11:31am when trainer Mr C.Watson reported the greyhound to have kennel cough (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Rival Natalie and Rough Surface were slow to begin. Oriental Tiger and Hillbilly Diva collided soon after the start. Burrawonga Girl, Oriental Tiger, Golden Moon and Hillbilly Diva collided on the first turn, checking Burrawonga Girl, Oriental Tiger, Rough Surface and severely checking Golden Moon which fell. Kraken Risky and Rough Surface collided on the home turn. Kraken Risky raced wide entering the home straight.
Golden Moon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor abrasion to the left hind leg, no apparent injury could be detected.
