Tilson – New declared weight of 31.5kg, last raced at 29.6kg.
Oriental Tiger was quick to begin. Level Neville and Bobby's Fox collided soon after the start checking Bobby's Fox. Miss Danae contacted the running rail on the first turn. Oriental Tiger, All Inn Dawn and Tilson collided on the first turn checking Oriental Tiger, All Inn Dawn and Miss Danae. Level Neville, Bobby's Fox and Cast collided on the first turn checking Level Neville and Bobby's Fox. Tilson lost ground approaching the home turn. Tilson galloped on the heels of Cast on the home turn checking Level Neville and All Inn Dawn severely checking Tilson.
Tilson underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was then re-examined following Race 10. Tilson was found to have an injury to the right hip, right shin soreness and right infraspinatous. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
