Taken, Red Rochelle and Bourbski Bar collided on the first turn checking Red Rochelle, Bourbski Bar and Blue Shadows. Red Rochelle and Bourbski Bar collided approaching the second turn. Taken raced wide on the second turn.
Blue Shadows underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to the representative of Blue Shadows Mr S. Menegazzo regarding the performance of the greyhound in tonight's event. Mr Menegazzo stated he felt Blue Shadows was in need of the run however did suffer interference on the first turn and was unable to make up ground from that point. Stewards noted Mr Menegazzo's comments and took no further action.
