Steward's Report
Stride For Pride was slow to begin.
Devel Sixteen, Aston Alessio and Eddie Coin collided soon after the start. Mostro Rocks and Ride Along collided soon after the start. Ride Along and Stride For Pride collided approaching the first turn. Aston Alessio, Immersion, Mostro Rocks, Ride Along, Stride For Pride and Bowled Underarm collided on the first turn checking Bowled Underarm, Mostro Rocks and severely checking Ride Along and Stride For Pride, causing Immersion to fall.
Immersion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left elbow injury and an abrsion to the right hindleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stride For Pride underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right wrist sprains. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Eddie Coin - winner of the event.
Devel Sixteen – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound tonight and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.
