Steward's Report
Zekel Bale, Selnya Teddy and My Dewana Penny collided soon after the start. Blockette, Zekel Bale, Selynya Teddy and My Dewana Penny collided approaching the first turn severely checking Selynya Teddy. My Dewana Penny, Zekel Bale and Blockette collided on the second turn checking Zekel Bale and Blockette. Selynya Teddy and Blockette collided on the second turn. Baby Eden and Gino Gambino collided in the back straight, approaching the third turn and again approaching the home turn. Baby Eden and Blockette collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Selynya Teddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr S Coates, regarding the manner in which Selynya Teddy raced approaching the second turn. After taking into account the interference caused to Selynya Teddy at that point of the race, Stewards took no action in the matter.
Gino Gambino underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury found.
