Steward's Report
Desiree Dancer, Why Not Hugh and Just Faith were slow to begin.
Brother Griff and Desiree Dancer collided soon after the start. Just Faith crossed to the inside on the first turn checking Why Not Hugh and Brother Griff, severely checking Desiree Dancer; causing Desiree Dancer to contact the running rail and lose considerable ground. Tubark raced wide in the home straight.
Desiree Dancer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
