In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 25.4 degrees and the kennel temperature was 15.9 degrees. 

During kennelling Stewards conducted a carpark check on all trainers’ vehicles engaged in today’s meeting. Stewards were satisfied that all transport had adhered to the GRV Hot Weather Policy and the GRV Transportation of Greyhounds Policy.

Rita Jay, Town Tamer and Power Load collided soon after the start checking Town Tamer and severely checking Rita Jay. My Name Heather, Power Load and Armani Arby collided on the first turn severely checking Power Load.

Rita Jay underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Jarvis, the trainer of Rita Jay regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Rita Jay must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kareda Gold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right front toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Debattista, the trainer of Tuesday's Gone and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.

Aston Astro was quick to begin. Tough Grit and Aston Soho collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Tough Grit and Aston Astro collided on the first turn. Line Seeker checked off I'm Poppy on the first turn checking Stareena. I'm Poppy and Aston Astro collided on the home turn.

Go Pro – New declared weight of 33.8kg, last raced at 31.9kg.

Lektra Swing was slow to begin. Go Pro faltered soon after the start and tailed off as a result. Heza Real Deal checked off Walk On Bye on the first turn.

Heza real Deal underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have a right wrist sprain. A 7 stand down period was imposed.

Go Pro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
