Steward's Report
No Problem John checked off Kiwi Hustler approaching the first turn. Dr. Brissa checked off Honey Soy on the first turn checking Fab Senorita Kiwi Hustler and Little Miss Ivy. Rusty Nail and Kiwi Hustler collided on the home turn checking Rusty Nail and Little Miss Ivy. No Problem John and Dr. Brissa collided in the home straight causing Dr. Brissa to stumble. Kiwi Hustler visibly eased and collided with Honey Soy approaching the winning post.
Kiwi Hustler underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7 - no apparent was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Graham, the trainer of Kiwi Hustler regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Kiwi Hustler was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Graham pleaded not guilty to the charge, Kiwi Hustler was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
