Handsome Jake - Late scratching at 1:36pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to pannus. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr T. Pipczak and directed that a veterinary clearance be furnished for Handsome Jake and the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 74(3) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Banga and Eddie collided soon after the start checking Banga. Eddie and Lady Bang Bang collided on the first turn.
