Steward's Report
Blazing Hype was slow to begin. Our Magic Turbo and Blazing Hype collided soon after the start checking Blazing Hype. Nella Bale and Our Magic Turbo collided approaching the first turn checking Our Magic Turbo. Nella Bale, Mimstar and Kraken Champ collided on the first turn checking Miss Firebird and Bluegrass Icon, severely checking Kraken Champ which stumbled, causing Mimstar to fall. Bluegrass Icon checked off Miss Firebird on the third turn. Our Magic Turbo and Blazing Hype collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Our Magic Turbo.
Mimstar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Kraken Champ was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Miss Firebird, the winner of the event.
