Steward's Report
One Fury and Almapa Berish collided soon after the start. Ebby Infrared, Benchester and Fernando Bluey collided approaching the first turn; checking Benchester, and severely checking Ebby Infrared and Fernando Bluey. Fernando Bluey brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.
Fernando Bluey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hindlegs shin soreness injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Shima Shine - the winner of the event, in a track record time of 23:352.
