Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Joffa's Princess and Zulu Queen collided soon after the start and again approaching the second turn. Max Black raced wide on the second turn. Also Arandt checked off Polite Reply entering the back straight. Joffa's Princess and Zulu Queen collided on the third turn checking Zulu Queen.

Finniss Vision was slow to begin. 

Deed's Delight, Sweet Waterloo and Sizzling Sam collided on the first turn. Sweet Waterloo and Sizzling Sam collided on the second turn. Finniss Vision and Deed's Delight collided on the fourth turn.

Sweet Waterloo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo- sacral injury and sand toe on both hind feet. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post-race sample was taken from Fernando Frank - the winner of the event. 

Divine Jewel was quick to begin. Who Is Arandt and Redzin were slow to begin. 

Fernandes and Red The Run collided soon after the start. Lights Action and Fenway Lights collided soon after the start. Fernandes and Fenway Lights collided on the first turn checking Lights Action. Fernandes and Lights Action collided on the home turn checking Lights Action. Fireball Frank visibly eased and looked inwards in the home straight. 

Fireball Frank underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Adam Richardson, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Fireball Frank was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Richardson pleaded guilty to the charge, Fireball Frank must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zambora Clown was quick to begin. Nothin' To Lose was very slow to begin (6 lengths). 

Rose Mikado and Mepunga Doyle collided on the first turn. Shima Deal faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. 

Shima Deal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6. Shima Deal was found to have injuries to the left back muscle and right hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Scott Melville, the trainer of Shima Deal regarding its performance in the event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Shima Deal must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Zambora Clown - the winner of the event. 

Bounce Back was quick to begin. Fine Tactics and Print The Cash were slow to begin. 

Fine Tactics, Cherokee Fawn and Threadin' Mikado collided on the first turn. Ultra Lightbeam and Bounce Back collided on the first turn. Print The Cash brushed the running rail approaching the second turn and lost ground as a result. 

Print The Cash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the lumbo-sacral and abdominal muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Michelle Mallia, the trainer of Print The Cash and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Ms Mallia to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Print The Cash in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Superstitious and Suvla Bay were quick to begin and collided approaching the first turn. Suvla Bay and Tah Matt collided on the first turn. Suvla Bay checked off Tah Matt on the first turn checking I'm A Dominator. I'm A Dominator and Non Plussed collided entering the home straight. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Nangar Rippa. 

Nangar Rippa stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. 

Sailing Shoes and Mick's Legacy collided soon after the start. Sailing Shoes, Mick's Legacy and According collided approaching the first turn checking Mick's Legacy. Nangar Rippa and According collided entering the back straight. Sailing Shoes and Arlington collided approaching the home turn checking Arlington. 

Lochinvar Deus - Late scratching at  4.26pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Dreamy Eyes. 

Dreamy Eyes and Midnight Hussler collided on the first turn. Omar Little checked off Midnight Hussler on the first turn checking Keefe. Dreamy Eyes and Matilda Mikado collided on the second turn. Omar Little and Midnight Hussler raced wide on the second turn.

Disco Riot and Mountain collided soon after the start checking Mountain. Raining Rainbows and Boombox Charlie collided approaching the first turn. Vigorous, Big Jo and Zulu Walk collided on the first turn. Vigorous and Big Jo collided on the first turn checking Big Jo. Disco Riot checked off Zulu Walk entering the back straight. Vigorous and Zulu Walk collided approaching the third turn checking Zulu Walk. Mountain and Zulu Walk collided on the home turn. Vigorous, Big Jo and Raining Rainbows collided on the home turn checking Raining Rainbows which raced wide as a result.

Zambora Lulu and Little Tubbsy were quick to begin. 

Milly Mac and Frankie Fever collided soon after the start. Zambora Lulu, Milly Mac and Fourth Dimension collided on the first turn. Lara Tara, Zambora Lulu and Milly Mac collided on the first turn checking Milly Mac and severely checking Zambora Lulu. Little Tubbsy and Bayside Bourbski collided approaching the third turn checking Little Tubbsy. 

Zambora Lulu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion over the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
