Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Weblec Rebel was quick to begin.  Brute was very slow to begin (2 lengths).  Ray Keeping and Xenophilius colided soon after the start.  Weblec Rebel and La La Missouri collided soon after the start and again in the front straight.  La La Missouri checked off Weblec Rebel on the first turn.  La La Oregon and Xenophilius collided on the second turn severely checking La La Oregon and Brute causing both greyhounds to lose ground as a result.  Tig checked off Weblec Rebel approaching the third turn.  It's My Party and Tig collided on the home turn.  La La Missouri and Ray Keeping collided in the home straight.  La La Missouri checked off Ray Keeping approaching the winning post.  Weblec Rebel and Tig collided approaching the winning post.

Origami Angel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left paw pad, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sole Trader, Trindad Scorpion and Black Spring were slow to begin.  Indulge and Havana Miss collided in the front straight checking Havana Miss and I'm Easy Boys.  Sole Trader checked off Indulge approaching the second turn causing Sole Trader to brush the running rail as a result.  Black Spring checked off Sole Trader on the third turn.  Black Spring and Mostro Rocks collided on the home turn.  Trindad Scorpion checked off Sole Trader on the home turn.
