A pre-race sample was taken from Shima Breeze.
Nicmac Paddywack, Chillin, Crazy Old Fool and Shima Breeze collided on the first turn. Take The Lead and Shima Breeze collided approaching the second turn. Chillin and Crazy Old Fool collided approaching the second turn. Nicmac Paddywack and Chillin collided on the second turn, severely checking Nicmac Paddywack. Shima Breeze and Go Commando collided approaching the home turn, checking Go Commando. Take The Lead and Shima Breeze collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Nicmac Paddywack and Crazy Old Fool collided approaching the winning post.
