Weeona Pete, Burn Time and Captain Jake collided soon after the start. Wynburn Gold and Keenando collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Weeona Pete, Burn Time, Captain Jake, Zipping Clifford and Blinken Billy collided on the first turn checking Burn Time. Wynburn Gold and Keenando collided on the first turn checking Keenando, causing Keenando, Blinken Billy and Keeper Of Keys to collide. Wynburn Gold checked off Burn Time entering the front straight. Blinken Billy checked off Wynburn Gold in the front straight. Keenando and Blinken Billy collided on the second turn checking Keenando which brushed the running rail. Captain Jake and Zipping Clifford collided on the fourth turn.
