Lochinvar Deus was slow to begin.

Saint West, Kraken Katie and Apex Within collided on the first turn. Aston Peregrine faltered approaching the second turn and pulled up as a result. Lochinvar Deus and Yeller Bale collided in the home straight. Lochinvar Deus tired in the home straight.

Lochinvar Deus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Peregrine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fractured hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
