Ellias Bale and On Patrol collided soon after the start. Oriental Gale and Attwater collided approaching the first turn checking Attwater. Attwater and On Patrol collided approaching the first turn. College Prince, Aston Sofia, Read Alot and Panel One collided on the first turn. Read Alot and Panel One collided approaching the home turn. Read Alot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind toe injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. G. Austin, regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Read Alot was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Austin pleaded guilty to the charge, Read Alot must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
