Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations. 

Kip Your Best was quick to begin.  Blazing Strings and Just Like Jessie were slow to begin.

Pontiac Moon, Agent Ivy and Boes Reward collided soon after the start checking Agent Ivy.  Kip Your Best eased on the first turn checking Always There, Pontiac Moon and Agent Ivy; severely checking Just Like Jessie and Boes Reward.    Boes Reward fell as a result.  Kip Your Best and Pontiac Moon collided approaching the home turn. 

Boes Reward underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh injury.  A 5 day stand down period stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kipritidis, the trainer of Kip Your Best regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Kip Your Best was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kiprirtidis, pleaded guilty to the charge, Kip Your Best was suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Agent Risky and One Double Beat collided soon after the start.  Koh Lipe and Skitz collided on the first turn checking Skitz.  Agent Risky and One Double Beat collided on the first turn checking Agent Risky.  Agent Risky checked off One Double Beat on the home turn.

Fast Food Junkie was quick to begin.  Cullquin Vincent was quick to begin.  Pando Patrol was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Rock Me Nicholas and Double Eclipse collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn causing Double Eclipse to race wide.  Boes Rose, Double Eclipse and Pando Patrol raced wide entering the home straight.

Bag Of Tricks and Biggest Star collided soon after the start checking Biggest Star and Rocky Gully.  Too Much and Aquileia collided approaching the first turn.  Armageddon Arby brushed the running rail on the first turn checking Armageddon Arby.  Aquileia and My Dark Rose collided on the first turn.  My Dark Rose checked off Aquileia approaching the home turn.  Rocky Gully and Biggest Star collided on the home turn and again in the home straight, checking Biggest Star and Aquileia. Too Much and Armageddon Arby collided in the home straight. 

Too Much underwent a post-race veterinary examination after a collision with several other greyhounds after the finish, prior to entering the catching pen.  The greyhound was found to have a right radius/ulna fracture.  Too Much was humanely euthanised.

Dewana Success was quick to begin.  He Shall Power was slow to begin.

Good Old Pendles and Looby Sky collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Flojo Mikado.  He Shall Power and Looby Sky collided approaching the second turn checking Looby Sky and Floho Mikado.

That Will Be and My Girl Mel collided soon after the start checking That Will Be. Just Love and Walk On Bye collided approaching the first turn. My Girl Mel contacted the running rail on the first turn checking My Girl Mel.  Maverick Bob checked off Just Love on the first turn.  My Girl Mel and Maverick Bob collided approaching the home turn.

Oriental Jade and Knuckles were quick to begin.  Spolly's Beauty was slow to begin.

Hardaway Samara and Ally Opp Keats collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Hardaway Samara, Ally Opp Keats and Spolly's Beauty, causing Spolly's Beauty to contact the running rail and lose considerable ground.  Knuckles checked off Oriental Jade approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Spolly's Beauty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind medial stifle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Flashy De Goey and Mac's Mayhem collided soon after the start.  Dewana Milkshake, Tekki Nibbles, Dundee Jazz and Mac's Mayhem collided on the first turn checking Tekki Nibbles and Dundee Jazz, causing Flashy De Goey to race wide.  Dundee Jazz brushed the running rail approaching the second turn.

Greysynd Spectre was slow to begin.

Winlock Kin and Majestic Way collided soon after the start.  Maximum Sarah, Winlock Kin and Majestic Way collided on the first turn checking Maximum Sarah and Winlock Kin.  Greysynd Spectre checked off Majestic Way approaching the home turn.  Majestic Way and Jump The Bar collided in the home straight checking Jump The Bar.

Representative Miss S. Swan requested that Majestic Way undergo a post-race veterinary examination.  No apparent injury was reported.
