Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful heatlh screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Not Arandt, Zellweger and On Patrol collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds, resulting in Not Arandt being turned outwards. Red Mahogany and On Patrol collided on the first turn,checking Inga Bobby; and causing On Patrol to fall.

On Patrol underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left wrist.  No stand down period was imposed.

Susie's Star and Saffron Lace collided soon after the start.  Fab Nine checked off Barellen Mist approaching the first turn.  Fab Nine, Saffron Lace and Get On Phil collided on the first turn, checking Saffron Lace and Get On Phil.  Susie's Star and Get On Phil collided entering the home straight.  Fab Nine checked off Barellen Mist in the home straight.  Barellen Mist and Cyberpunk Tokyo collided in the home straight.

Vegas Rules and Inga Alfie were quick to begin.

Enid's Angel and Numinous collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, severely checking Enid's Angel.  Numinous checked off Inga Alfie on the home turn and collided with Midget Rocks, checking both greyhounds.

Run From Reality was quick to begin.  Demolition was slow to begin.

Equals Two checked off King's Honour soon after the start.  King's Honour checked off Run From Reality approaching the first turn.  Flying Yuna checked off Demolition on the first turn.  Diama Miss checked off Demolition on the first turn.  King's Honour shifted out approaching the home turn, checking Equals Two and Flying Yuna; causing Equals Two and Flying Yuna to race wide.  Equals Two and King's Honour raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to the Starter, Mr N Bergen after the green light was inadvertently switched on as the greyhounds were being loaded.  As the lure remained stationary, Stewards were satisfied that this had no bearing on the outcome on the event.  Stewards advised Mr Bergen to be more deligent in future.  

Kraken Tex, Jar Man and Husky Beatle collided approaching the winning post, checking Jar Man.

Lil Snooze underwent a post-race veterinary examination, after the greyhound fell approaching the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.
