Mt. View Audrey and Fine Tactics were slow to begin.
Sixties Rockstar and Artemisia collided soon after the start. Mt. View Audrey raced wide on the first turn and lost ground. Sixties Rockstar and Phoenix Drive collided several times from the home turn to the winning post. Sixties Rockstar, Artemisia and Phoenix Drive collided approaching the winning post checking Artemisia.
Mt. View Audrey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain, right monkey muscle, right deltoid, right and left groin injuries. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
