Steward's Report
Omega Gringo and Diamond Duchess were slow to begin. Aston Turbine and Tyson's Tiger collided soon after the start checking Aston Turbine. Private and Tyson's Tiger collided on the first turn checking Tyson's Tiger, All Hollywood and Omega Gringo; Omega Gringo and Diamond Duchess collided as a result. Tyson's Tiger raced wide on the home turn. Aston Turbine visible turned its head on the home turn and collided with Private. Aston Turbine crossed in in the home straight and collided with Private.
Aston Turbine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms Tanya Sincock, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Aston Turbine was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Sincock pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Turbine must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
