Steward's Report
Bold was slow to begin (3 lengths). Tat James and All Inn Abby collided soon after the start, checking Tat James. Bold pulled up soon after the start and failed to complete the event. Yozo Bale checked off All Inn Abby on the first turn, checking All Inn Ava. Tat James checked off All Inn Ava on the home turn, checking Blue Addition.
Bold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr S.VanTaarling, the trainer of Bold regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Bold was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr VanTaarling pleaded guilty to the charge, Bold is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
