Sacred Path was slow to begin.
Winlock Dyno and Winlock Buttons collided soon after the start checking Winlock Dyno. Sacred Path and Twinkle Love collided on the first turn checking One More Light, severely checking Sacred Path and Winlock Dyno, Twinkle Love faltered and fell as a result. Sacred Path and One More Light collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Twinkle Love underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
