Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

Well Grounded was quick to begin. Dewana Step was slow to begin.

Well Grounded and Mia's Wish collided approaching the first turn. Well Grounded and Macey Moo collided on the first turn. Mia's Wish marred Royal Coconut approaching the second turn. Dewana Step and Royal Coconut collided on the third turn.

Mia's Wish underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr S. Hughes, the trainer of Mia's Wish regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Mia's Wish was charged with marring. Mr Hughes pleaded guilty to the charge, Mia's Wish is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Rockstar Gately - Late scratching at 10.34am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms A. Daily was fined $100. 

Rockstar Lincoln and Rockstar Brass were quick to begin.

A pre-race sample was taken from Glory Road. 

Glory Road was quick to begin. Who Is Arandt was slow to begin.

Glory Road and Yano Bale collided approaching the first turn. Who Is Arandt checked off Glory Road on the first turn. Glory Road faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.

Glory Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn right back muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lea Arandt was slow to begin.

Horizon Princess and Jagger's Joss collided soon after the start. Horizon Princess, Always Ho Ho and Jagger's Joss collided approaching the first turn checking Always Ho Ho. Horizon Princess checked off Jagger's Joss on the first turn checking Lea Arandt. Lektra Yoyo checked off Jagger's Joss approaching the second turn checking Horizon Princess and Lea Arandt. Horizon Princess and Lea Arandt collided on the home turn checking Horizon Princess.

Speedy Spyro was quick to begin. Stellar Rising and Barcia Prince were slow to begin.

Speedy Spyro and Spring Fair collided soon after the start. Drogheda County and Barcia Prince collided approaching the first turn. Grace Intention and Barcia Prince collided on the first turn. Stellar Rising contacted the running rail on the first turn severely checking Drogheda County; Stellar Rising fell as a result.

Stellar Rising underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right pectoral muscles. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Railway Burra and Dyna Chancer were slow to begin.

Mohinga Chase and Coyote Ugly were slow to begin.

Spearhead and Coyote Ugly collided soon after the start checking Coyote Ugly. Smart Mary, Mohinga Chase and Coyote Ugly collided approaching the first turn checking Mohinga Chase. Spearhead checked off Faithy Bale on the first turn. Smart Mary checked off Cruising Betty approaching the second turn checking Mohinga Chase and Coyote Ugly. Mohinga Chase and Coyote Ugly collided on the third turn.

Velocity Anfrid – Late scratching at 16.21pm on 25.03.20 when Ms D. Johnston reported the greyhound to have a foot injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Vixstar checked off Sheriff Max on the second turn checking Rockstar Quinn and causing Vixstar to stumble. Shanlyn Charlott checked off Yozo Bale in the back straight. Vixstar and Rockstar Quinn collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Tilly Lee was quick to begin.

Tilly Lee and Javi collided on the first turn. Shanlyn Deano and Aston Achilles collided on the first turn and again entering the back straight.

Lily Pad and Dyna Virion were slow to begin. Tiggerlong Ginga went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
