Slick Intention crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Dark Jedi crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Blue Gal, checking Sweet Coconut and Fernando Frank.  Lord Disick and Plumber collided approaching the first turn.  Blue Gal and Sweet Coconut collided approaching the first turn.  Blue Gal, Sweet Coconut and Lord Disick collided on the first turn checking Sweet Coconut causing Sweet Coconut and Fernando Frank to collide, severely checking Blue Gal which fell as a result.  Lord Disick checked off Plumber approaching the second turn.  Fernando Frank and Lord Disick collided in the back straight.  Dark Jedi checked off Barooga Smoke on the third turn.  Dark Jedi and Lord Disick collided in the home straight.

Blue Gal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid, right pectoral muscle, and a thoraco-lumbar injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

All Show, Major Giblet and Rockstar Gately collided soon after the start.  Rockstar Gately and All Show collided approaching the first turn checking All Show, causing All Show and Earn The Frank to collide.  Bowled Underam, Major Giblet and All Show collided on the first turn.  Tekki Jim brushed the rail on the first turn.  Bowled Underam and Major Giblet collided in the back straight checking Bowled Underam.  Tekki Jim contacted the rail on the third turn.  Earn The Frank and Major Giblet collided entering the home straight.

Tekki Jim was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid, left shoulder and left latissimus dorsi, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lonnie Mach was quick to begin.  Bourbski Bar and Tough Tears collided approaching the first turn.  Bourbski Bar checked off Tough Tears entering the front straight causing Bourbski Bar and Repercussions to collide causing both greyhounds to race wide as a result.  King Colt checked off Zipping Clifford approaching the second turn checking King Colt, causing King Colt and Havana Miss to collide.  Lonnie Mach and Tough Tears collided on the fourth turn.  Zipping Clifford and King Colt collided on the fourth turn.

Akashi Kid stumbled at the start.  Triple Double and Bartholomew Bale collided soon after the start.  Bartholomew Bale and Mrs. Sharp collided soon after the start.  Triple Double, Bartholomew Bale, Mrs. Sharp and Akashi Kid collided approaching the first turn checking all four greyhounds.  Mrs. Sharp and Akashi Kid collided approaching the second turn.  Bartholomew Bale and Mrs. Sharp collided on the third turn.  Bartholomew Bale checked off Mrs. Sharp in the home straight.

Rock And Roll was slow to begin.  Cavernando and Idria Bale collided soon after the start.  Benali checked off Ma's Plum Jam on the first turn causing Benali, Cavernando and Idria Bale to collide.  Benali and Cavernando collided approaching the second turn checking Cavernando, causing Cavernando and Idria Bale to collide, severely checking Idria Bale.  Cavernando fell as a result.  Ma's Plum Jam and Shanlyn Charlott collided on the third turn checking Shanlyn Charlott.

Cavernando was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both deltoids and right pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Bonnay was quick to begin.  Taken and Weeona Pete collided soon after the start.  Submission crossed to the rail soon after the start causing Submission, Shima Shine and Rockstar Melody to collide.  Terren's Close and Dyna Smokey collided approaching the first turn.  Terren's Close, Dyna Smokey, Shima Shine and Rockstar Melody collided on the first turn.  Terren's Close and Dyna Smokey collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Terren's Close causing Terren's Close and Rockstar Melody to collide.  Shima Shine and Submission collided approaching the home turn.

Belt Up Ronny and Pete's Dream collided soon after the start.  Lily Pad and Lot Coin Babe collided on the first turn checking Lot Coin Babe, causing Lot Coin Babe and Silver Smarty to collide checking Lot Coin Babe.  Lot Coin Babe visibly eased and turned its head to the outside and collided with Silver Smarty in the home straight.

Lot Coin Babe  was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid, right pencil muscle and right hip, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr M. Briganti, Trainer, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lot Coin Babe was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Briganti pleaded guilty to the charge, Lot Coin Babe must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Drumroll Please was slow to begin.  Ally Oop Keats stumbled at box rise and lost ground.  Ally Oop Keats and Why Not Paps collided approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Sparkle checked off Shantelle Rose approaching the first turn.  Ally Oop Keats checked off Why Not Paps on the first turn checking Cosmic Sparkle.  Beatrice checked off Aston Pilsner approaching the second turn.  Drumroll Please raced wide entering the back straight.  Beatrice and Ledgerwood Libby collided in the back straight, approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.

Star Night, Shima Rock and Pair Of Nines were slow to begin.  Weeona Roger brushed the rail on the first turn.  Shady Tex checked off Playlist approaching the second turn checking Shady Tex, causing Shady Tex and Weeona Roger to collide.  Pair Of Nines hurdled Weeona Roger approaching the second turn checking Weeona Roger.  Pair Of Nines fell as a result severely checking Star Night.

Star Night was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprain to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Pair Of Nines was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid and right trapezius,  7 day stand down period was imposed.

Abelero Bale and Kasey Anne collided soon after the start checking Kasey Anne.  Leo Rose and Alon collided approaching the first turn checking Alon, causing Abelero Bale and Alon to collide, severely checking both greyhounds.  Jebrynah Green and Akashi Boy collided on the third turn.  Leo Rose checked off Jebrynah Green approaching the home turn.   Akashi Boy marred Why Not Colby entering the home straight, severely checking Why Not Colby.  Akashi Boy visibly eased in the home straight. 

Abelero Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a thoraco-lumbar injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Alon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid and left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Akashi Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr R. Douglas, theTrainer of  Akashi Boy regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Akashi Boy was charged with marring. Mr Douglas pleaded guilty to the charge,  Akashi Boy is suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
