Kudos Bale was a late scratching at 7.29pm on 22.2.2020 by Order of Stewards due to transport breakdown.
Chillout Chuckie, I'm The Greatest and Responsible were slow to begin.
I'm The Greatest galloped on the heels of Here To Help on the first turn checking Here To Help. Responsible raced wide approaching the second turn and collided with Here To Help resulting in Here To Help being checked. Coconut Miss checked off Fernando Frank on the third turn. Responsible marred I'm The Greatest in the home straight checking I'm The Greatest and Coconut Miss. Here To Help tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Here To Help underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Responsible underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the left foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr V. Tullio, the trainer of Responsible regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Responsible was charged with marring. Mr Tullio pleaded guilty to the charge, Responsible is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
