I'm The Greatest galloped on the heels of Here To Help on the first turn checking Here To Help.  Responsible raced wide approaching the second turn and collided with Here To Help resulting in Here To Help being checked.  Coconut Miss checked off Fernando Frank on the third turn.  Responsible marred I'm The Greatest in the home straight checking I'm The Greatest and Coconut Miss.  Here To Help tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Here To Help underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Responsible underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the left foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.    

Stewards spoke to Mr V. Tullio, the trainer of Responsible regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Responsible was charged with marring. Mr Tullio pleaded guilty to the charge, Responsible is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mumma Jo and Predator collided soon after the start.  Dundee Jazz and Totally Bella collided approaching the first turn.  Macey's Star, Finniss Vision, Totally Bella and Dundee Jazz collided on the first turn checking Predator, Dundee Jazz, Galilahi and Finniss Vision.  Totally Bella and Finniss Vision collided entering the front straight checking Totally Bella.  Predator checked off Finniss Vision on the second turn.  Predator and Galilahi collided on the third turn.  Macey's Star and Predator collided in the back straight.  Macey's Star, Totally Bella, Predator and Galilahi collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Totally Bella and Mumma Jo collided approaching the winning post.  

Totally Bella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing on the left hind paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Miss Eloise was charged with marring. Mr Howell pleaded not guilty to the charge, Miss Eloise was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Psycho Star - the winner of the event.

Small Rose was quick to begin.  Al's Vixen and Hip Hippy Shake was slow to begin.

Chill Out Webby and Parzival collided soon after the start.  Hip Hippy Shake crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Al's Vixen.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Gracie Blue was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Hughes pleaded guilty to the charge, Gracie Blue is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Wendalin Bale was a late scratching at 7.40pm on 22.2.2020 by Order of Stewards due to transport breakdown.

It's All Luck – Late scratching at 1:26pm due to the greyhound not being presented (non-arrival) (GAR 31) (1). No stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms P. Brown was fined $250 after it was established the incorrect greyhound was presented to the Stewards.

Jonty Bale, Kissable and Kurri Kurri collided on the first turn checking Kurri Kurri.  Kurri Kurri and Flojo Mikado collided on the second turn.  Jonty Bale and Lady Bang Bang collided approaching the third turn.  Kurri Kurri and Flojo Mikado collided on the home turn.
