Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Crakalakin Caity.
Leo Rose was slow to begin. Bulk Billed was checked off Crakalakin Caity soon after the start. Minter Zoom, Find The Time and Crazy Happy collided on the first turn. Find The Time visibly eased and turned its head on the first turn and collided with Crazy Happy. Bulk Billed and Leo Rose collided on the first turn. Bulk Billed was checked off Leo Rose on the first turn.
Find The Time underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr. R. Boyce declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Boyce the trainer of Find The Time regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Find The Time was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Boyce pleaded guilty to the charge, Find The Time is suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
