Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), Parade Steward, Ms. S. Tyler did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Brilliant Jet was slow to begin. Barely Breaking and Baileys On Ice collided soon after the start checking Barely Breaking. Dr. Woodie and Pedda Pal collided approaching the first turn. Baileys On Ice checked off Paz approaching the first turn. Pedda Pal and Baileys On Ice collided on the first turn checking Baileys On Ice. Flywheel Frankey and Jayville Tuxedo collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Dr. Woodie and Paz collided approaching the home turn. Baileys On Ice, Flywheel Frankey and Jayville Tuxedo collided on the home turn. Dr. Woodie galloped on Paz on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds which fell as a result checking Pedda Pal, Brilliant Jet, Flywheel Frankey and Jayville Tuxedo.
Dr. Woodie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a Radius/ulna fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Paz underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
