The start of this race was delayed by approximately three minutes to allow for the completion of the presentation for the Group 1 Zoom Top.
Perfect Marshall, Rajasthan and Tauwitchere were quick to begin. Velocity Bettina and Steinbrenner were slow to begin.
Waging War, Weblec Eagle, Tauwitchere and Steinbrenner collided on the first turn. Perfect Marshall and Rajasthan collided several times on the first turn.
