Steward's Report
Winlock Newbolt - Late scratching at 5:26 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr M Gibbons was fined $100.
Cee Me Snoop and Franki Jay were slow to begin. She's An Earn crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Valletta Sky. Madam Rosmerta and She's An Earn collided on the first turn. Ledgerwood Road, Back Burn, Cee Me Snoop, Valletta Sky and Franki Jay collided on the first turn checking Cee Me Snoop and Valletta Sky. Madam Rosmerta and She's An Earn collided on the second turn. Back Burn and Valletta Sky collided on the second turn. Ledgerwood Road and Franki Jay collided on the home turn. Franki Jay raced wide in the home straight.
Following the event, Stewards declared "hold all tickets" to review the video footage entering the back straight and entering the home straight due to a power surge causing the lights to malfunction in these areas. After reviewing the footage, Stewards deemed the placings were not materially affected and delcared "All Clear" on placings 4-7-8-5.
