Steward's Report
Annie Rose was slow to begin. Annie Rose checked off Stylish Missile on the first turn and again in the back straight. Audacious Grace and Perfect Player collided on the second turn. Audacious Grace, Perfect Player and Go Tango collided approaching the home turn. Zipping Ruby checked off Annie Rose on the home turn. Tahbilk visibly turned its head and marred Go Tango approaching the winning post.
Tahbilk underwent a post-race veterinary examination - No apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. D. Johnston, the trainer of Tahbilk regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tahbilk was charged with marring. Mrs. Johnston pleaded guilty to the charge, Tahbilk is suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.
