It's A Date checked off Sad But True approaching the first turn.  Lucky Lulu and Sheer Bliss collided on the first turn.  Akina Archer, Sheer Bliss and Sad But True collided on the first turn checking Sheer Bliss severely checking Sad But True.  Skip A Yonnie and Akina Archer collided on the first turn causing the muzzle of Skip A Yonnie to become wedged in its teeth.  The greyhound was inconvenienced and lost ground as a result.  Sheer Bliss and Lucky Lulu collided on the home turn.

Skip A Yonnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a  mouth lesion - No stand down period was imposed.

Rynell Bale and Rosie Reigns were slow to begin.  Rosie Glenda checked off Red Beryl approaching the first turn.  Chillin' The Fat and Red Beryl collided on the first turn checking Chillin' The Fat.  Flinders checked off Blazing Flora on the first turn checking Red Beryl and Chillin' The Fat.  Rynell Bale and Rosie Reigns collided approaching the home turn.  Chillin' The Fat and Rosie Reigns collided on the home turn.  Flinders and Blazing Flora collided in the home straight.  Flinders veered in and marred Blazing Flora in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. McMahon, the trainer of Flinders regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Flinders was charged with marring.  Mr. McMahon pleaded not guilty to the charge, Flinders is suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Onyx was quick to begin.  Nicholas Rose was slow to begin.  Nicholas Rose contacted the running rail on the first turn.  William Rose galloped on the heels of Aston Chie on the first turn checking Aston Chie which faltered and tailed off as a result.  Aston Cairn, Chief's Magic and Once Only collided on the first turn severely checking Chief's Magic.  Once Only lost ground approaching the home turn.  Aston Cairn checked off Brace And Bits on the home turn.

Aston Chie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury and a left monkey muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Annie Rose was slow to begin.  Annie Rose checked off Stylish Missile on the first turn and again in the back straight.  Audacious Grace and Perfect Player collided on the second turn.  Audacious Grace, Perfect Player and Go Tango collided approaching the home turn.  Zipping Ruby checked off Annie Rose on the home turn. Tahbilk visibly turned its head and marred Go Tango approaching the winning post.

Tahbilk underwent a post-race veterinary examination - No apparent injury was reported.

Johnston, the trainer of Tahbilk regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tahbilk was charged with marring.  Mrs. Johnston pleaded guilty to the charge, Tahbilk is suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Off To Monaco was quick to begin.  Aston Tequila and Valencia Gem were slow to begin.  Destini Cavalier and Kasey Anne collided on the first turn.  Aston Tequila checked off Too Good Joog on the second turn.  Flying Moss checked off Too Good Joog approaching the home turn.

Terren's Close was quick to begin.  Bumble Bee Bolto crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Niall Bale.  Niall Bale and Galway Icon collided on the first turn.  Silvio Dante, Terren's Close and Sunset Navana collided on the first turn.  Splinter, Terren's Close and Sunset Navana collided approaching the home turn.  Silvio Dante raced wide entering the home straight.

Galway Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

John's Last - Late scratching at 7:55pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37)  due to an abraded paw pad/split webbing.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
