Stewards spoke to Ms Constance McMillan and Mr Murray Hehir after the greyhound Midnight Mission did not have a catcher for this event.  After hearing evidence from both participants Stewards took no further action as they believe it was a miscommunication.  

Tears In Eyes was slow to begin.

Tough Like Atom and Especial Elise collided soon after the start.  Alter Ego checked off Especial Elise approaching 200m mark.  Alter Ego and Super Attitude collided approaching the 100m mark.  Southern Edge crossed in approaching the 100m mark.  Looby Sky checked off Tough Like Atom at the 100m mark.  Super Attitude raced wide for the entire event.
