Avalanche, Ayo Joy and Lektra Spring were slow to begin.  Avalanche checked off Lektra Spring on the first turn checking Avalanche and Ayo Joy.  Callister, Dyna Garner and Living Daylights collided on the first turn and again entering the front straight checking Dyna Garner and Living Daylights.  Ayo Joy and Dyna Garner collided on the second turn.  Lektra Spring and Callister collided on the third turn.  Living Daylights checked off Havana Miss entering the back straight.

Why Not Pockets was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Galway Icon was vetted following the event and was revetted following R12.   It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Khaleesi Girl was a late scratching at 6:48pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness.   A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Akashi Kid.

So Tough and Akashi Kid were slow to begin.  Make A Sound and So Tough collided soon after the start.  Maximum Tiff crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Make A Sound which fell as a result.  Zoro Bale and Maximum Tiff collided approaching the first turn checking So Tough and Maximum Tiff.

Make A Sound was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind outer toe, no stand down period was imposed.
