Steward's Report
Quick Income was quick to begin. Lumen Scar, Desiree Devere, Snake Pit Lass and Indulge collided on the first turn checking Desiree Devere and Lumen Scar. Desiree Devere and Lumen Scar collided entering the back straight checking Lumen Scar. Snake Pit Lass and Indulge collided approaching the second turn checking Snake Pit Lass. Invictus Quintin and True Survivor collided approaching the home turn. Snake Pit Lass and Bravery collided entering the home straight checking Snake Pit Lass. Invictus Quintin, Quick Income and Indulge collided approaching the winning post.
Lumen Scar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Borg, the handler of True Survivor regarding its improved performance in this event. Mr. Borg stated that the greyhound has had two previous starts at Warrnambool were in both starts received interferance. He further added that the greyhound had done all its pre training at Bendigo and had trialled well on Monday. Stewards ordered that a sample be taken from the greyhound.
