Steward's Report
No Room – Late scratching at 2:20pm when Gary Edwards reported the greyhound to have a shoulder injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Lightning Blue - Late scratching at 4:07pm due to Trainer Mr Gordon Yates unable to transport the greyhound in accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Mist was slow to begin. Select Pattern and Brolga Lass collided on the first turn. Bags On Shazza contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Brolga Lass checked off Mist on the home turn.
Bags On Shazza underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
