It's A Jewel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasion and bruising to the left medial metacarpal and left elbow.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Penta Allen and Hadeel Bale collided soon after the start.  Kiss Me Nicki and Shanlyn Magic collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Penta Allen checked off Hadeel Bale on the first turn causing Penta Allen and Weeona Jimmy to collide.  Kiss Me Nicki and Weeona Pete collided on the first turn.  Inkling and Shanlyn Magic collided on the first turn checking Shanlyn Magic, Weeona Pete and She's A Mitzi.  Inkling checked off Penta Allen approaching the second turn.  Penta Allen and Weeona Jimmy collided on the second turn.

Kraken Dust, Midnight Mystery and Blazing Hype were slow to begin.

Kraken Dust and Apex Within collided soon after the start.  Apex Within and Soda Flakes collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Quota and Apex Within collided on the second turn.  Midnight Mystery and Summer Girl collided on the third turn.  Apex Within and Summer Girl collided on the home turn.  

A post-race sample was taken from Blazing Cartier - winner of the event. 

Dyna Garner was quick to begin.  Maximum Brew, Rixy Ya Pest, Dyna Bonnay and Aston Chandon were slow to begin.

Zipping Clifford and Sunny's Kayo collided on the first turn.  Rixy Ya Pest checked off Dyna Bonnay entering the front straight.  Dyna Bonnay and Vens Revenge collided on the second turn.  Zipping Clifford checked off Sunny's Kayo in the back straight.  Zipping Clifford and Aston Chandon collided on the fourth turn checking Aston Chandon.  Aston Chandon visibly eased and turned its head on the home turn and collided with Zipping Clifford checking Zipping Clifford.  

Aston Chandon underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent was reported. Mr J. Thompson declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. 

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Thompson, the trainer of Aston Chandon regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Aston Chandon was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Thompson pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Chandon is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fernando’s Riot and Loaded collided soon after the start.  Audacious Poppy and Fancy Fabio collided approaching the first turn.  Premier Rumble, Wharfies Girl, Fernando's Riot, Why Not Ginger and Fancy Fabio collided on the first turn causing Premier Rumble to fall checking Fernando's Riot, Why Not Ginger, Fancy Fabio and causing Loaded and Audacious Poppy to race wide.  Loaded and Audacious Poppy collided on the second turn.  Fernando's Riot and Why Not Ginger collided on the home turn.  

Premier Rumble underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right femur fracture. Premier Rumble was humanely euthanised.

Elle Est Bonne, Jackson's River and Sprightly Bro were slow to begin.

Poppy Talk and Fireball Friday collided on the first turn.  Jackson's River and Push collided on the first turn checking Elle Est Bonne.  Poppy Talk and Fireball Friday collided on the third turn checking Poppy Talk and Sprightly Bro.  Elle Est Bonne and Shanlyn Haven raced wide in the home straight.  

Xalynn Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Jokare and Water Colour were slow to begin.

No Excuse and Midnight Waltz collided approaching the first turn.  Superstar Jessie, No Excuse and Midnight Waltz collided on the first turn checking Midnight Waltz, Jokare and Water Colour.  Superstar Jessie checked off No Excuse on the second turn.  No Excuse and Midnight Waltz collided in the back straight checking Midnight Waltz. 

A post-race sample was taken from Cocoon - winner of the event.

Kadalex Kid - Late scratching at 9.30pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to diarrhoea and elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mega Dossa and Hot Fiasco were quick to begin.  Crackerjack Nev and Ernesto Bale were slow to begin. 

Flying Moss and Tourello collided soon after the start.  Mega Dossa and Hot Fiasco collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Hot Fiasco, Bruce's Back, Flying Moss and Tourello, Ernesto Bale raced wide as a result.  Tourello and Crackerjack Nev collided on the home turn.  

Brother Brother, Consider It Done and Zanthre Allen were slow to begin.
