Steward's Report
Trap Queen - Late scratching at 11.21am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Problem Solved - Late scratching at 5.56pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr T.Burns was fined $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Maverick Bob.
Kel Knight and Monty Python were slow to begin.
Kel Knight checked off Monty Python on the first turn. Voluptuous Blue and Due Fratteli collided approaching the home turn. Maverick Bob shifted out entering the home straight causing Kramer Bale to clip the heels of Maverick Bob. Kramer Bale and Maverick Bob collided several times in the home straight to the winning post.
Kramer Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr M. Cameron,the trainer of Kramer Bale and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.
