A sample was unable to be obtained from Talulah Bale upon arrival at the course, a pre-race sample was subsequently taken.
Talulah Bale, Mitch Bale and Pietra Allen were slow to begin. New Samsation, Mitch Bale and Erolo Bale collided approaching the first turn. Erolo Bale checked off Spectra Style on the first turn. Talulah Bale, New Samsation, Mitch Bale, Erolo Bale and Spectra Style collided on the first turn checking Erolo Bale, Spectra Style and Pietra Allen. New Samsation checked off Red Queen on the home turn.
Spectra Style was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
