Dottrel was quick to begin. You One and Jitterbug Witch collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking You One. Dottrel lost ground approaching the first turn. Chill Out Virgo and Jitterbug Witch collided on the first turn. Table Top and Winlock Kin collided approaching the home turn. Dottrel and Jitterbug Witch collided approaching the home turn. You One raced wide and marred Dottrel on the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Table Top and Chill Out Virgo collided entering the home straight. Chill Out Virgo marred Winlock Kin in the home straight.
Chill Out Virgo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7, no apparent injury could be detected.
Dottrel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Dottrel was found to have toe injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
