Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Ms. E. Bowls was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Scott Worth It pursuant to GAR 33.

Aston Respect was slow to begin. Perfect Jewel, Ramona and Last Dance collided soon after the start checking Ramona. Scott Worth It and Canadian Mist collided on the first turn. Pasta Fagioli and Perfect Jewel collided approaching the home turn. Ramona raced wide in the home straight.

Sticker Stinger was slow to begin. Skeleton Key and Missy Marlus collided soon after the start checking Missy Marlus. Sweet Antares and Skeleton Key collided approaching the first turn checking Sweet Antares which collided with Missy Marlus. Skeleton Key, Murray Nan, Patricia Mary and Sticker Stinger collided on the first turn checking Murray Nan and Patricia Mary. Missy Marlus and Patricia Mary collided several times approaching the home turn causing Missy Marlus to contact the running rail and lose ground. Skeleton Key galloped on the heeels of Tin Can Sam entering the home straight. Skeleton Key and Murray Nan collided in the home straight.

Missy Marlus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Low Planes was quick to begin. Royalty Runa and Mepunga Holly collided soon after the start checking Mepunga Holly. Kalter, Full Moon Party and Legendary Lad collided approaching the first turn. Royalty Runa, Kalter and Full Moon Party collided on the first turn checking Kalter. Yakima, Low Planes and Legendary Lad collided on the home turn. Kalter raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight. Mepunga Holly clipped the heels of Low Planes in the home straight.

Stewards questioned Handler Mr J. Formosa regarding the number of starts that Yondu has had over the past month, today being 9 starts in 28 days. Mr Formosa stated that the greyhound is currently racing well and he has the greyhound checked regularly. The Stewards noted Mr. Formosa’s explanation, advised him they would continue to monitor this greyhound's racing frequency and performance and further recommended that the kennel allows more days off between official race-starts moving forward. 

On Time Cash and Frankenstein collided soon after the start. Prince Mark and Go Pies collided approaching the first turn checking Prince Mark. Tat James and Olson Bale collided on the first turn checking Tat James. Tat Warby and Olson Bale collided approaching the home turn. Frankenstein and Prince Mark collided approaching the home turn. Olson Bale clipped the heels of Tat Warby on the home turn. On Time Cash and Go Pies collided entering the home straight.

Love Heart and Clovally Mansumi collided soon after the start checking Clovally Mansumi. Gotta Place and Clovally Mansumi collided on the first turn. Lance Link and Vapour Blaze collided approaching the home turn.

Vapour Blaze underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling after the finishing line. Vapour Blaze was found to have an abrasion to the left dew claw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Broadway Bullet - Late scratching at 1:57pm under GAR 37 (4) on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to have fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Untold Soldier was quick to begin. Monster Harley and Bingo Boon collided approaching the first turn checking Bingo Boon. Brylee and Monster Harley collided on the firts turn checking Brylee. Monster Harley and Pure Quality collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Brylee, Pure Quality and Monster Harley collided on the home turn checking Pure Quality. Untold Soldier and Aston Peroni collided entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Bingo Boon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left fore limb and injuries to the left shoulder and hip. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
