Steward's Report
Geroge Knockin' and Jye Licious were slow to begin.
Jye Licious and Dreamliner collided at the 250m mark. Dreamliner raced wide approaching the 200m mark. No Problem John, Dyna Ringo and Diamond White collided approaching the 200m mark checking No Problem John and Dyna Ringo. George Knockin' checked off Jye Licious approaching the 100m mark and collided with No Problem John. George Knockin' and No Problem John collided at the 50m mark. Jye Licious visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Jye Licious underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a possible factured left fibula injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Jye Formosa, the handler of Jye Licious regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Jye Licious was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Jye Licious is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
