Timmy Tunga, Kiranna Blue and Bigwig collided approaching the first turn checking Kiranna Blue.  Crossfire Icon and Bigwig collided approaching the first turn checking Bigwig.  Kiranna Blue and Akina Error collided on the first turn checking Kiranna Blue.  Entwined checked off Zipping Dozer on the first turn causing Entwined to race wide.  Bigwig and Zipping Dozer collided approaching the second turn checking Zipping Dozer.  Crossfire Icon tired and lost ground from approaching the third turn to the finish of the event.

Coffey Road and Almapa Berisha were slow to begin.

Over Talking and Superstar Jessie collided approaching the first turn.  Coffey Road and Almapa Berisha collided approaching the first turn.  Percy's Diva crossed to the inside on the first turn checking Spotted Panther and severely checking Superstar Jessie, Over Talking and Almapa Berisha; causing Superstar Jessie to fall and Almapa Berisha and Over Talking to race wide.

Superstar Jessie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bubbles was slow to begin.
