Bernmar Luck underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right elbow injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Borradale, the trainer of Bernmar Luck regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Bernmar Luck was charged with marring.  Mr. Borradale pleaded guilty to the charge, Bernmar Luck is suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ultimate Mac, Capricious, Larkhill Brae and Sharky Shark were slow to begin.  Larkhill Brae checked off Mia's Hand soon after the start.  Bernmar Blue checked off Sharky Shark on the first turn severely checking Ultimate Mac.  Hoppy Lee and Sharky Shark collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Hoppy Lee checked off Sharky Shark on the first turn.  Hoppy Lee clipped the heels of Sharky Shark on the first turn causing Hoppy Lee and Larkhill Brae to fall severely checking Ultimate Mac which was inconvenienced as a result of the fall;  Ultimate Mac subsequently pulled up.  Bernmar Blue checked off Sharky Shark approaching the home turn.  Sharky Shark stumbled on the home turn.  Bernmar Blue and Sharky Shark collided entering the home straight.

Hoppy Lee underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Ultimate Mac underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Larkhill Brae underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right radius/ulna fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Capricious underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion and spike wound to the left stifle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Early Special tired over the concluding stages of the event and was vetted as a result.
