Zipping Buffy, Smart Mary and Kraken Doll were quick to begin.
Blur and Inkling collided soon after the start. Zipping Buffy, Smart Mary, Blur, Inkling and Shoot To Miss collided on the first turn severely checking Franki Jay and Shoot To Miss, Shoot To Miss faltered, causing Frabki Jay to race wide, Shoot To Miss tailed off as a result. Smart Mary, Blur and Inkling collided approaching the second turn checking Blur. Zipping Buffy and Inkling collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Zipping Buffy, Inkling and Franki Jay. Smart Mary checked off Blur approaching the third turn. Smart Mary checked off Blur in the home straight.
Shoot To Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed
