Dewana Degoey, Invictus Roy and Sensory collided soon after the start. Invictus Roy and Weblec Haze collided approaching the first turn. Sensory and Smokin' Cindy collided approaching the first turn checking Sensory and Dewana Degoey. Two Up Thommo, Dewana Classic and Slipstream collided on the first turn checking Slipstream, severely checking Dewana Degoey, Invictus Roy and Weblec Haze; Two Up Thommo, Smokin' Cindy and Dewana Classic fell as a result.

Indominus and Nordegren collided soon after the start. Aston Perignon crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dewana Milkshake. Weblec Fire, Dewana Success and Aston Perignon collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Weblec Fire checked off Aston Perignon approaching the first turn checking Dewana Milkshake and Nordegren. Aston Perignon, Indominus and Paz collided on the first turn checking Paz and Lorna's Luck. Weblec Fire raced wide approaching the second turn. Lorna's Luck and Nordegren collided approaching the home turn. Dewana Milkshake checked off Dewana Success approaching the home turn. Lorna's Luck and Nordegren collided entering the home straight. Paz visibly eased and turned its head to the outside in the home straight, checking Indominus. 

Paz underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle, left hamstring and right triangle and a spike wound to the left wrist. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms Jennifer Gill, the representative of Paz regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Paz was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Gill pleaded guilty to the charge, Paz is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Weblec Fire underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left chest muscle and a spike wound to the right hock. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Jeffrey Britton, the trainer of Weblec Fire regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Weblec Fire must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Imogen and Couture were quick to begin. So Tough was slow to begin.

Winlock Thor checked off Couture approaching the first turn. Galloping Coxy and Aston Lindop entering the back straight, Galloping Coxy lost ground as a result.

Galloping Coxy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Smart Mary, Blur and Inkling collided approaching the second turn checking Blur. Zipping Buffy and Inkling collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Zipping Buffy, Inkling and Franki Jay. Smart Mary checked off Blur approaching the third turn. Smart Mary checked off Blur in the home straight. 

Shoot To Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed

Winlock Sunshine was quick to begin. Why Not Patrick was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Major Bourbski underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a ligament rupture/discloation to the left hind toe. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
